Meaning you can hold down shift and face your character in a desired direction and also use this for your CTRL hotkey combinations. This take a little getting used to but overall feels more comfortable over long periods of time only having to reach for the CTRL key when toggling chat. This is because I use that key for toggling chat (Ctrl + Enter). I found this combined with Shift being bound to CTRL to be a more comfortable hand position. CTRL + Enter again to activate the hotkeys once more. This will suspend the hotkeys so you can chat/type in the Tibia window.
